Teaching minors to use sex app's that access their location is SAFE??

I found this book at Lincoln Elementary School in the Fall of 2023 provided through the Book Mobile (AKA:  Knowledge Mobile).

This book instructs readers to use an adult sex app.  It tells them to upload a picture of themself while the app can access their location.

This book is labeled for "Young Adults" yet was made available for K-5th graders.  When I complained to the district about this, they
asked the Book Mobile to remove age inappropriate books from our elementary schools, however, I learned that the same book is in Mendez Intermediate School and in many of our high schools.  This app, Grindr, has a reputation of exploiting minors according to National Public Radio.
So WHY was it recommended in our schools by the SAUSD school board?  Isn't it ironic that we have "SAFE" rainbow posters in all our schools, when in reality,
it is the kids who identify as LGBTQ who are being placed at highest risk of sexual exploitation?
