At the GLBT Calif Teacher Association Conference from Nov 13-15, 2015, during Eric Hein's Key Note Speech, he talked about the Friedrichs vs CTA Supreme Court Case, which was to take place on Jan 11, 2016.
During his speech, I (Brenda Lebsack – a CTA member) heard Eric Heins call the plaintiff(s) of the case a SPAWN OF SATAN.
I was shocked! In my hotel room, I called the President of the Christian Educators' Association and asked him (David Schmus) about this case. He said, WE ARE THE PLAINTIFFS. (I was not even aware!) The main Plaintiff was Rebecca Freidrich, a Christian Woman who taught elementary students in a smaller Anaheim School District, Savanna.
( I had the privilege of meeting Rebecca Friedrich and found out she is also a member of the Christian Educators Association International - CEAI)
Her case was to make Union Dues a CHOICE rather than MANDATORY.
Because Justice Scalia passed away (the swing vote) the vote was a tie, so it lost.
I did not record Hein’s 2015 speech from the GLBT conference, though it’s probably available in the CTA archives. However, I did record Hein’s 2016 speech, where he said it AGAIN.
At the Good Teaching South Conference at the Hyatt in Garden Grove (Feb 27, 2016), I asked Eric Hein's Permission to share his recorded speech from this conference.
I asked, "Mr Heins, I have a friend who was not able to make the conference and really wanted to hear you speak. Is it ok for me to share a recording of your speech with my friend?"
He said, "Yes, Of course"
I said, "Thank you!"
He said, "I have nothing to hide"
I thanked him again, smiled, shook his hand, and walked away.

So Eric Heins called their conservative members, such as myself, a SPAWN OF SATAN and “Racist”

Such as: Lynde and Harry Bradley Foundation, Koch Brothers, John M. Olin Foundation, F.M. Kirby Foundation, Center for Individual Rights,
When Heins talked about the GLBTQ movement in 2015 he said... "It's through the power of our testimony that we overcome".....
